Agile AI and delivery terms, defined

The words SyncupHUB uses for its agents, its delivery model and the way AI is governed, each in a sentence or two, with a link to the page that goes deeper.

Agile AI

Agile AI is AI applied to the agile delivery cycle itself: turning requests into backlog items, checking readiness, planning capacity, flagging risk and drafting tests. In SyncupHUB it takes the form of persona agents, each handling one job and proposing its output for a person to approve.

AI and Tools Marketplace

The AI and Tools Marketplace is where a SyncupHUB administrator chooses which AI models and delivery tools the organisation may use. Models can run inside your own tenant or come through an approved provider’s API, such as OpenAI’s or Anthropic’s Claude, and nothing reaches teams until it is approved.

AI product owner

An AI product owner is an AI assistant for the product ownership workflow. In SyncupHUB this is the PO Agent: it checks a request for missing information, reviews product fit and backlog overlap, and drafts requirements and acceptance criteria. It proposes; the product owner keeps priority and approval.

AI provider

An AI provider is a company whose models software can call through an API, such as OpenAI, whose GPT models power ChatGPT, or Anthropic, which makes Claude. In SyncupHUB an administrator approves each provider and the kinds of work it may be used for, and reaching an external provider is a choice, not a default.

Daily syncup

A daily syncup is the team’s daily stand-up. In SyncupHUB it runs from the Sync Board, whose Round table view walks the team through the sprint person by person, so the stand-up runs itself.

Delivery Digital Twin

A Delivery Digital Twin is a connected model of a delivery operation that you can ask questions of. It reads capacity, dependencies, carryover and risk as they form, forecasts the release where the evidence supports it, and shows what a scope or dependency change would do before anyone commits to it.

Document Spaces

Document Spaces are collaborative documents inside SyncupHUB, organised into spaces for a product, programme or team, with comments, suggestions, approvals and version history. They sit next to the work they describe.

Human-in-the-loop approval

Human-in-the-loop approval is the rule that AI output stays a draft until a person with the right role reviews and approves it. Every SyncupHUB agent proposes rather than acts, and each approval is recorded.

How the agents work

Leadership Cockpit

The Leadership Cockpit is the executive workspace in SyncupHUB: portfolio health across active programmes, the forecasts that moved this week, and the decisions waiting on a leader, each with an owner and a date. It reads the same delivery model the teams work in, so it never waits for a status report.

Persona agent

A persona agent is an AI agent shaped to one job in the delivery chain rather than a general assistant. SyncupHUB has seventeen, from the PO Agent that checks a request to the Deployment Agent that drafts the rollback runbook, all reading the same delivery model.

PO Agent

The PO Agent is SyncupHUB’s persona agent for product owners. It checks a request for missing information, reviews product fit and possible backlog overlap, and drafts requirements and acceptance criteria for the product owner to review.

Private AI

Private AI is AI that runs on models inside the customer’s own tenant, so delivery data need not reach an outside provider. In SyncupHUB in-tenant use is unmetered, and reaching an external provider is a decision an administrator makes, not a default.

QA Intelligence

QA Intelligence is SyncupHUB’s test management and quality layer. AI drafts test cases from a story’s acceptance criteria, covering positive, negative and security cases, a QA lead reviews and approves them, and every case traces back to its requirement.

QA Intelligence

Requirement traceability

Requirement traceability is following a requirement to the code that delivers it, and back. In SyncupHUB a requirement’s ID travels with its acceptance criteria into stories, commits, pull requests, builds and deployments; in reverse, AI Documentation reads an existing repository and recovers what it does for a person to confirm.

Requirement to Code Traceability

Scrum Master Agent

The Scrum Master Agent is SyncupHUB’s persona agent for scrum masters. It prepares ceremonies, chases impediments that have gone quiet, and turns a retrospective into follow-up actions with an owner attached.

AI agents for every role

Sub-agent

A sub-agent is a narrower agent working beneath the persona agents. SyncupHUB runs 59 of them, monitoring every move in the delivery.

Sync Board

The Sync Board is a sprint board with seven views of the same sprint: stages on the Board, everything at once in List, load against capacity by Person, who is waiting in Blockers, and the daily syncup in Round table, alongside Calendar and Timeline.

Token efficiency

Token efficiency is keeping AI cost tied to output rather than prompt size. Because SyncupHUB’s delivery model is structured, an agent sends only the context a task needs, routine work runs on small models and cached context, and in-tenant usage is unmetered.

Token Efficiency

Visual Canvas

Visual Canvas is a collaborative visual board for discovery, planning and design, built into the workspace that runs delivery. Sticky notes, flowcharts and architecture diagrams live on it, and any shape can link to a real story, risk or decision.

Work request

A work request is how a business need enters SyncupHUB. The requester describes it in their own words, the PO Agent drafts the fields and suggests a route, and a product owner confirms the right team before it becomes backlog work.
